2018 Teacher Appreciation Month

At The Kickin’ Chicken, we are committed to more than just serving up good chicken. We love our friendly community and giving back is our way of showing it. Since 2012, we have celebrated National Teacher Appreciation Month with over 50 local schools, feeding more than 4,000 teachers. Our complimentary meals are just a small way to say thank you to the amazing faculty and staff around town!

This program has grown over the past six years and since it’s start, we have donated more than 25,000 chicken nuggets… now that’s a lot of chicken! In 2018 alone, we served around 4,000 nuggets, 200 Kickin’ Chicken wraps, and 150 salads. Let’s just say, no one went hungry and all were satisfied! We currently work with seven schools year round hosting spirit nights, rewarding honor roll students with free nuggets, and donating our food truck. In addition, starting in August, Kickin’ Chicken will kick-off a fundraiser for the Teacher’s Supply Closet at all five of our restaurant locations. Thank you to our local school’s faculty and staff for your service!

From May 3rd to May 22nd, teachers, faculty, administrators, and staff at following schools were served a complimentary meal from our team:
AC Corcoran Elementary School (North Charleston)
